Hello Friends,
A little note of gratitude. Now that I am standing on this side of 2020, phew, we made it, it was the best year the Incubator Kitchen Collective has ever had. A gift of the pandemic I believe was truly gifting people time to figure out what brings them joy, what do they want to do with their life and folks READY to start businesses to grow their dreams. People showed up. Our current members quickly learned how to pivot, they made incredible and exhausting changes it seemed almost weekly to stay going and staying strong. They crushed goals, beat records and felt supported.
Rose & Mary Bakery incubated out into a storefront in Covington!
Chloe’s Eatery incubated out into a permanent space at Carriage House Farms!
Chef Nel incubated out to a food truck!
Stellar Street Eats incubates out this month & to open their dream store front!
We are currently supporting over 40 food artisans and we are working on getting our website updated with companies who are currently with us!
Some of the biggest news to come out of this past couple months is an incredible partnership with Kroger. They stepped up in a HUGE way and gave us a grant that allowed us to support 5 food companies for the entire 2021 year.
You can read more about that grant here in this Cincinnati Magazine article.
A shout out also to Green Umbrella, thanks to a grant from them we were able to update our hot water tanks to an energy efficient model.
We’ve had lots of companies in the news lately too- THANK YOU LOCAL MEDIA for covering these guys. Sharing a few links with you today and will save the others for the next email! 😉
